Mr. Joseph Alonzo Spears, Jr., 72, of Menifee, Ar departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2017. He was born in Pineland, TX on February 12, 1945 to the late Joseph Alonzo Spears, Sr. and Jennie Beatrice (McCoy) Spears.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Spears of Menifee, AR; one daughter, Kimberly (Terry) Lawson of Little Rock, AR; three grandchildren, Kyron Lawson, Kennedi Lawson, and Nayla Nabors, all of Little Rock, AR; five sisters, Dorothy Spears Bolden, Mary Spears Houston, Barbara Spears McCray, Brenda Spears and Elner (Japhet) Spears Makia; four brothers, James (Patience) Spears, Lawrence (Joann) Spears, Melvin (Marie) Spears and Calvin (Debra) Spears.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Menifee Church of Christ, 3911 Hwy 64, Menifee, AR. Visitation 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Friday, October 20, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment Menifee Community Cemetery in Menifee, AR.
