André D. Acklin, son of Mr. Larry G. and Ernestine H. Acklin, is a native of Conway, Arkansas. André is a 1986 graduate of Conway High School and a 1992 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. André is licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors. Andre' is also a member of the Conway School Board of Education, where he is currently serving a 5 year term.

As Vice President/General Manager of Larry G. Acklin Funeral Homes in Conway, Little Rock and Morrilton, Arkansas. André is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all three funeral home locations. This has afforded André the opportunity to serve, comfort and touch the hearts of many, many families throughout central Arkansas, and form lasting relationships for years to come.

André's family includes his wife Sharon Acklin, their children Xavier and Andrea Acklin and grandchildren Taylee, Tylen and Tatum Acklin. 

Twyla L. Acklin-Wyrick

Twyla L. Acklin Wyrick, daughter of Mr. Larry G. and Ernestine H. Acklin, is a native of Conway, Arkansas. Twyla is a 1994 graduate of Conway High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Twyla was employed with a major telecommunication company for several years as a Financial Analyst before coming to Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home full time. Twyla is a former real estate agent. She is currently licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors.

As Vice President and Financial Manager of Larry G. Acklin Funeral Homes in Conway, Little Rock, and Morrilton, AR, Twyla is responsible for managing all staff and office functions at all three locations. In addition, Twyla is responsible for overseeing all financial matters at the funeral homes.

Twyla’s family includes her son, Quenton RaShad Wyrick and his wife Brittny; daughter, Kennedi Wyrick and a precious granddaughter, Willow Jade Wyrick.

Ernestine Henderson Acklin, daughter of Casterene Cunningham Henderson and the late L.V. Henderson, Sr, is a native of Conway, Arkansas. Ernestine is a 1967 graduate of Pine Street High School, a 1976 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Special Education, a Master of Science in Education degree in Elementary Education in 1985 and Elementary Administration certification in 1991. She is a retired teacher and administrator of Conway Public Schools. Ernestine is licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors.

 

Ernestine’s family includes her husband, Larry G. Acklin; son, Andre’ Acklin and wife, Sharon; daughter, Twyla Acklin-Wyrick and husband, Eddie; grandchildren, Xavier Acklin, Quenton Wyrick, Andrea Acklin, and Kennedi Wyrick; and great-grandchildren, Taylee Acklin, Tylen Acklin and Tatum Acklin.

Darryl Kevin Foster,the son of the late Roger and Christine Foster, is a native of Pine Bluff, AR. He is a 1984 graduate of Bryant High School and a 1996 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where he earned a Bachelor of Sciene degree in Sociology. 

Darryl's family includes his wife Melissa Fosterand their children, Devin, Madison, Carigan and Cydney Foster.

Sharon E. Young-Acklin is the daugther of Harvey Terrell Young, Sr. and the late Dorniece Dodson Young. She is a native of Carlisle, Arkansas where she attended Carlisle Public Schools until the 11th grade when her family moved to the Conway area.
 
Sharon is a 1987 graduate of Conway High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science.
 
Sharon's family includes her husband, Andre' Acklin, their children Xavier and Andrea Acklin and grandchildren Taylee, Tylen and Tatum Acklin.
